WaterGUIDE online (https://waterguide.online/nutrient-loss) is a first version of an interactive decision support system (DSS) for optimizing the selection of mitigation measures (constructed wetlands, structural liming, buffer zones, and catch crops), as well as their locations.
It provides easy access to a multitude of advanced data from, for example, results of the modelling of nutrient loss, soil properties predictions and remotely sensed topographical data through a user-friendly interface in a web browser. WaterGUIDE is the first system of its kind, as far as we know, where a user can combine high spatial resolution data on both the modelled effect of various mitigation measures on nutrient loss, as well as an assessment of the economic value or cost of the measure.
